🎉 SIMCHAT TORAH celebration at the AJT JUNIOR children's club! ✡️ Our young generation of the community celebrated the end of the annual cycle of Torah reading with cheerful dancing, exciting games, and a creative workshop.🚩🥳 Filled with the joy of the holiday and waving symbolic flags made by hand, the children are already looking forward to new meetings in the month of Cheshvan! 💫 #JDC #simhattorah #jewishtradition #tora #AJTTIR
Simchat Torah at Hesed Tiraspol – a day of light, wisdom, and warmth. Hesed Tiraspol celebrated Simchat Torah, the day when the annual cycle of Torah reading concludes and a new one begins. The meeting began with warm congratulations from community elder Yakov Lvovich on the anniversary and vivid memories of celebrating Sukkot. These stories seemed to prolong the atmosphere of joy and unity, which served as a natural transition to the new holiday. Participants discussed the Torah – a source of knowledge, spiritual light, and inspiration. They discussed the commandments, the meaning of continuous reading, and how the Torah accompanies a person throughout life, imbuing their actions with meaning and kindness. A particularly touching moment of the holiday was the ceremony of passing the candle – a symbol of light, wisdom, and the continuity of generations. Each participant, passing a candle to their neighbor, offered warm words and good wishes—both personally and for the entire community. At that moment, the hall was filled with a special light, warmth, and love. Chag Simchat Torah Sameach! May the light of the Torah illuminate our path, strengthen our faith, and fill our hearts with joy and kindness. https://vox.jct.md/prazdnik-simkhat-tora-v-khesede-tiraspolya-den-sveta-mudrosti-i-teploti-serdets
✡️ Shabbat Shalom! שבת שלום 🕓 In Transnistria 🕯️ Candle lighting: 17:52 Chapter Beresheet Shabbat Mevarchim New Month of Cheshvan Havdalah: 18:54 New Month of Cheshvan ✅ Chapter Beresheet tells about the creation of the world, man, and the first steps of humanity. It reminds us: everything has a beginning and a purpose. The world was created not by chaos, but by design, and in every person there is a spark of the Creator - the ability to choose goodness and create. The mistakes of Adam and Cain teach us responsibility: freedom of choice requires awareness. This chapter inspires us to start anew, to build a world around us with meaning and kindness - especially on the eve of a new month. ❤️ We wish everyone a peaceful, quiet, and blessed Shabbat! May your souls be calm and your hearts light. 👨👨👧👦 Saturday is given to us by the Creator so that we stop, listen to ourselves, to our inner selves, and devote time to loved ones and family. 🙏 Tzedaka/Donate: https://synagogue.md/donate/
Despite the vagaries of the weather, genuine warmth reigned in the Jewish community of Tiraspol—in the hearts and smiles of the people. 🌤️ Representatives of all generations, from little ones to respected elders, gathered for the holiday of Sukkot. Everyone found something for themselves, but most importantly, everyone was united by traditions and the joy of celebrating together. 💛 🌿 Blessings resounded in the sukkah, the lulav was raised, and the fragrant etrog reminded everyone of the unity of the people of Israel and gratitude to the Creator. 📖 After the formal part, participants learned more about the meaning and symbolism of the holiday, and the festive table delighted with harvest dishes. 💃 The highlight was dancing to live music—joyful, sincere, and uniting! Even the cloudy sky could not dim the inner light emanating from the hearts of those gathered. ❤️ On the eve of the holiday, community volunteers prepared colorful cards, made with warmth and love, and presented them to members of the older generation. 💌 These kind tokens of attention became another reminder of the care and mutual support that unites all community members. Sukkot is not just a holiday, it is a reminder: the strength of our community lies in mutual support, respect, and love. ✡️ Shabbat Shalom! שבת שלום 🕓 In Transnistria 🕯️ Fourth day of Sukkot (Chol Amoed) Candle lighting: 6:05 PM Fifth day of Sukkot (Chol Amoed) Havdalah: 7:07 PM Sixth day of Sukkot (Chol Amoed) Seventh day of Sukkot (Hoshana Rabbah) ✅ This week takes place in the middle of the holiday of Sukkot—a time of joy, gratitude, and unity. People live in huts, remembering how their ancestors trusted God and the way, even without walls around them. The main idea is to feel protection and meaning not in strong walls, but in faith, mutual support, and the ability to enjoy the simple things. Today it is a reminder: resilience comes from within, and happiness comes from being grateful for what you have. ❤️ We wish everyone a peaceful, quiet, and blessed Saturday! ✡️ Shabbat Shalom! שבת שלום 🕓 In Transnistria 🕯️ Candle lighting: 18:19 Chapter HaAzinu Havdalah: 19:20 Evening of Sukkot Candle lighting: 18:13 Sukkot 1 ✅ Chapter "A-Azinu" is Moses' farewell song to the people before his departure. In it, he reminds them that everything in life is connected to human choice and gratitude for what they have received. Moses warns of the consequences of forgetfulness and pride, but at the same time gives hope for return and renewal. This chapter teaches us to look honestly at our actions and remember that even difficulties can become a reason for growth. For modern people, this is a lesson in responsibility: we create the atmosphere around us. Sukkot, which begins after this chapter, calls us to rejoice in simplicity and appreciate what life gives us. ❤️ We wish everyone a peaceful, quiet, and blessed Saturday! 🕯 Yom Kippur, a day of deep reflection and spiritual cleansing, was celebrated in Rybnitsa. We discussed the importance of this holiday, its history, and traditions. It is customary to light candles on this day of mourning. Our creative students reflected this tradition in their works—candles glowed in their paintings as a symbol of remembrance, respect, and inner light. Each drawing was restrained and imbued with meaning, capturing the spirit of this special day. ✨ Yom Kippur reminds us of the power of forgiveness, repentance, and the importance of maintaining the light even in the most difficult moments. This meeting inspired each of us to reflect on our own paths and to feel the value of unity and respect for traditions.
✨ On the eve of International Day of Older Persons, a truly heartfelt meeting with the city library staff was held in Rybnitsa. They gave our residents not only warm words but also an invaluable reminder of the importance of cherishing older people, respecting their experience, and embracing the wisdom accumulated over the years. ☕ On this rainy day, a special atmosphere of comfort and gratitude reigned over a cup of hot tea. Each participant felt that attention and care warm the heart and brighten the soul. Such meetings remind us: older people are our wealth, support, and source of wisdom. They should not only be remembered on holidays, but also given attention, respect, and warmth every day. ❤️ https://vox.jct.md/teplo-serdets-v-dozhdliviy-den-156
Tiraspol celebrated the arrival of the year 5786! The celebration united generations. Community members of all ages gathered in the hall: children, teenagers, adults, and the elderly. The celebration began with the traditional candle-lighting, followed by teenagers from the AJT - Active Jewish Teens TIKVA club serving as ceremony hosts. The youth performed Kiddush and the challah blessing, emphasizing the importance of continuity and community spirit. Their participation symbolized that young people are not simply listening but actively engaging in sacred traditions, taking responsibility and inspiring the younger generation. The visit of Chief Rabbi of Moldova Pinchas Salzman, Agudat Israel MD, was significant for our community, emphasizing the importance of intergenerational unity and cohesion. This wasn't just a dinner—it was a space for connection, where everyone could be heard and where age was no barrier. Then followed a quiz with sweet prizes, shared songs, and conversations, in which older and younger children found common ground, learned from each other, and inspired each other. This event in the Tiraspol community demonstrated that the true power of any holiday lies in the interaction between generations, in the opportunity to learn from each other, in shared prayers, songs, and conversations. May the year 5786 bring us much light, kindness, mutual understanding, and sweet memories that we will create together. https://vox.jct.md/v-tiraspole-otmetili-nastuplenie-5786-goda
🌟 Rosh Hashanah was celebrated in Rybnitsa with true joy, vibrancy, and heartfelt spirit. From the very beginning, the holiday was filled with a special atmosphere of warmth and unity. Lilia Braga spoke about the traditions and meaning of the holiday 🍯🍎, reminding everyone that Rosh Hashanah is not only the Jewish New Year, but also a time of hope, good deeds, and renewal. Then the "Grace" dance troupe took to the stage. Their rousing Jewish dance gave the audience such a boost of energy that it was simply impossible to sit still! 💃✨ The talented Gulinsky family 🎶 continued the musical mood. Their songs touched souls, as they sang both Jewish melodies and heartfelt compositions. The music filled the hall with joy, light, and warmth, uniting everyone present. And then the real fun began! Everyone danced together, played games, joked, laughed, and enjoyed every moment. 🥰 No one was left out, because the holiday was a great success. We celebrated Rosh Hashanah as it should be – with smiles, songs, dancing, and faith in a kind, sweet, and happy year! 🌸 https://vox.jct.md/evreyskiy-noviy-god-v-ribnitse

✡️ Shabbat Shalom! שבת שלום 🕓 In Transnistria 🕯️ Candle lighting: 6:33 PM Shabbat Shuva Chapter Vayelech Havdalah: 7:34 PM Evening of the Day of Repentance Candle lighting: 6:23 PM ✅ Chapter Vayelech tells of Moses' last words before his departure. He transfers responsibility to a new leader and reminds people that the path to life and strength lies in fidelity to goodness and conscience. Moses says that the connection with the Truth is not somewhere far away: it is close by, in each of our hearts. This idea is important today as well—we ourselves are the source of wisdom and strength. On the Shabbat of Repentance, the idea of choice is especially resonant: each day can begin differently. This is not about guilt, but about the chance to become closer to our true selves. ❤️ We wish everyone a peaceful, quiet, and blessed Saturday! May your souls be calm and your hearts light. 👨👨👧👦 Saturday is given to us by the Creator so that we can stop, listen to ourselves, to our inner selves, and spend time with loved ones and family. 🙏 Tzedaka/Donate: https://synagogue.md/donate/
