Volunteer center
One of the areas of our organization's activity is volunteering. Volunteers are people who are ready to sacrifice their own time, share their professionalism, knowledge, reputation and connections for the benefit of society, without material compensation for their work.

Almost every undertaking cannot be done without the help of volunteers – sincere, kind, proactive, responsive people. Volunteers of the “wise age” provide support to elderly people within the framework of the “Equal to equal” direction, give communication and valuable support, provide all possible assistance.
Volunteers of different ages participate in creative workshops, volunteer events, provide information by phone, help with the delivery of food packages and the organization of events/lectures. With the support of volunteers, minor repairs of household items are carried out, and assistance is provided in the local area of lonely elderly people.
Volunteers of our center gain new acquaintances and communication, support, as well as the opportunity for self-realization, feel their importance and contribution in the development of our region and Community
- Zparticipation in the center’s events, community and cultural work: assistance in organizing lectures, creative workshops;
- Zproviding consultations on various aspects of a healthy lifestyle;

- Zprovision of free initial legal advice;
- Zassisting project coordinators in providing targeted assistance;
- Zparticipation in the distribution of charitable aid;

- Zaccompanying elderly people with limited mobility (running errands, communicating on the phone, congratulating on holidays)

📚✨ In August, our community held the “Get Your Child Ready for School” campaign. Thanks to the support of caring community members and the fulfillment of the mitzvah of tzedakah, we helped large families get their children ready for the new school year. 🖍️ Notebooks, pens, paints, albums, and other stationery became part of the gift sets that volunteers lovingly handed over to the children. 💬 “This help is very valuable to our family. The children go to school in a good mood and with the feeling that they are cared for,” said one of the mothers. 💬 “The children’s happy eyes are the best reward for our efforts,” shared a volunteer. Now the schoolchildren of our community are ready for new knowledge and achievements! 🌟 https://vox.jct.md/preview/aktsiya-soberi-rebyonka-v-shkolu-v-nashey-obshchine Volunteer Center RVC #RVC JDC Kishinev
📖Yesterday, as part of the Literary Lounge project, we had a creative meeting with interesting guests. Zakharchuk Alexey and Natalie Samoniy are members of the Writers' Union of Transnistria. As always, our volunteer Valery Kupershmidt introduced the guests warmly and with inspiration. He noted that Natalia has incredibly interesting and unexpected titles of poems - so many of them that an entire meeting could be made up of the titles alone. Among them: "Monsieur Sausage", "Cucumbers have gone", "About a tumbler and a tumbler", "FRIDA - Fish Soul", "Island of Voluptuousness". 📚 Alexey has philosophical and lyrical works full of deep reflections. During the meeting, many poems were read - lyrical content, civic poetry, lines about the war. 🫶Natalia is a teacher, so her work is largely dedicated to children and the world of childhood. She presented poems about family and youth, which our elderly listeners especially liked. 🎶 In addition, Natalia writes lullabies and sincerely recommends that parents sing lullabies to their children or at least read them - after all, such poems fill childhood with warmth and kindness. 💬 The atmosphere of the living room was truly soulful. The participants received great pleasure from the poets' creativity, and at the end of the meeting, words of gratitude and warm impressions were heard. https://vox.jct.md/poeziya-kotoraya-obedinyaet-pokoleniya Volunteer Center RVC #RVC
🌊 Today, the participants of the "Everyone to the Museum" project took a fascinating online journey into the world of art without leaving their homes! At the meeting, they got to know Aivazovsky better - an artist whose paintings of seascapes are familiar to everyone, but whose deep religious motives many discovered for the first time. 👀 For the first time, many heard the images of his famous paintings: "The Crossing of the Jews through the Red Sea", "The Creation of the World", "The 9th Wave", "The Wave", "The Black Sea", "The Betrayal of Judas". Each work told its own unique story and showed that there is always a deep meaning behind the beauty of the sea. The Volunteer Center RVC "Everyone to the Museum" project continues to open new horizons for representatives of the golden age of our community - after all, art becomes closer if you look at it together! 🎨✨ #RVC #JDC #hesedtiraspol https://vox.jct.md/vse-v-muzey-iskusstvo-kotoroe-vdokhnovlyaet
✨ Each thing has its own story. Sometimes it becomes unnecessary in one house, but can give warmth and joy to another. Some people bring clothes that they no longer need, while others gratefully find something that will come in handy right now. This is not just an exchange - this is a second life for things and great support for those who find themselves in difficult economic conditions. Many people are having a hard time in Transnistria today, especially the older generation. And such simple gestures of mutual assistance become a real salvation. 💙 When our wards choose clothes for themselves, this is not only material assistance - it is also a feeling of care, human warmth and participation. We believe that good comes back. And each donated thing becomes part of this chain of kindness. #JDC #HesedTiraspol #RVC
🌍 RVC Volunteer Seminar in Vadul lui Voda Three productive and inspiring days brought together volunteers from both banks of the Dniester. Our volunteers from Tiraspol, Bender, Rybnitsa also took an active part in this seminar. We learned together, shared experiences and opened new horizons for volunteer activities. 📌 The program includes: • sessions from psychologists and coordinators, • creative master classes, • work on new ideas and projects, • exchange of experience between different generations. The seminar became a place for meeting friends, making new acquaintances and vivid impressions. Volunteers will definitely apply all the knowledge and inspiration they received in their volunteer activities. 💙 Thanks to the organizers of the Volunteer Center RVC for the energy and knowledge! 🙌
✨ Poetry that unites hearts! ✨ 📚This Wednesday, our monthly online meeting with Transnistrian poets took place within the framework of the "Literary Living Room" project, and once again the poetic word gave unforgettable emotions! Our Volunteer Center RVC volunteer Valery Kupershmidt introduced the guests - Marina Sycheva and Tamara Bazilevskaya from the creative association "Literary Spring" (Rybnitsa). 📖The poetesses shared their book "Let's Bow to Those Great Years", where historical facts about the Great Patriotic War are transformed into touching poems. Each line is a tribute to the heroes, and goosebumps ran through all the listeners. 💻 The online format gave a unique opportunity to touch the beautiful without leaving home. The meeting was attended by listeners from all over Transnistria - from Rybnitsa, Tiraspol, Bender, Dubossary and other cities. Poetry erases distances and connects souls, wherever we are. 📖More than an hour of poems about the Motherland, nature, youth, about war heroes flew by unnoticed. At the end of the meeting, words of gratitude were heard: "Thank you for the opportunity to feel this heart to heart!" ❤️ 🙏Such meetings remind us: poetry is a living thread that connects generations and cities, gives strength and inspiration. 👉You can get acquainted with the book "Let's Bow to Those Great Years" at the link https://www.calameo.com/read/0062568065a0bc531c403 #JDC #HesedTiraspol #RVC
Today, everyone at the Day Center was completely immersed in creativity! As part of the Volunteer Center RVC project "Crazy Hands," a decoupage master class was held by our volunteer Tatyana. 📌 Napkins, glue, a little patience - and ordinary kitchen cutting boards turn into real works of art! 👵 "At first it was difficult - my hands don't obey, everything sticks, but then you get so carried away! This is a very useful activity for us, the elderly: for both fingers and head," shared one of the participants. 👐 Such activities not only develop fine motor skills and train attention, but also bring a sea of joy, inspiration and communication. Thank you all for your participation, warmth and smiles! 💛 #JDC #RVC #HesedTiraspol #DayCenter #CrazyHands #ActiveLongevity
On Tuesday, a meeting with representatives of the older generation of our community took place in Bender, on the picturesque bank of the Dniester. The head of the Active Walking project set up Nordic walking poles for new participants, everyone together repeated the walking technique and went for a walk along the embankment. Everything that we learned in online classes, we now tried out in practice! Volunteers helped us master the movements - those who already confidently own the technique and are happy to share their experience. 💬 Nordic walking is not just movement, it is health, vigor and the joy of communication. Everyone was especially touched by the example of the Titomir family: Valentina Alekseevna took up walking a little earlier, and her husband, Sergey Efimovich, received the poles today. She came specially to support her husband, and they walked the entire route together, helping and inspiring each other. 💬 “When a loved one is nearby, it is easier to walk and breathe more freely,” Sergey Efimovich said with a smile. The participants were full of enthusiasm and gratitude - many had long dreamed of such activity and are happy to join the movement! #JDC #RVC #HesedTiraspol #active walking #Bendery #Nordic walking #Hoffman project

🎨Today, the AJT children's club held a master class on applied arts. Together with a volunteer from the Volunteer Center RVC, our juniors created three-dimensional applications from paper and plasticine on the theme of "Tree". ✡️During the work, the children not only developed fine motor skills, but also thought about the similarity of a person with a tree - about how important it is to strengthen and nourish the roots in order to bear good fruit over time. ✨️This symbolic master class coincided with the opening of the Mishpacha family club, and children's crafts became warm gifts for parents - as a sign of the connection between generations and the strengthening of family traditions. 🤝We thank the Volunteer Center for the photo. #JDC #AJTTIR #jewishtradition
✨ Continuation of the magic of nylon ✨ After the first meeting, full of inspiration, the second part of the master class on the stocking technique took place! ✨ This time, the participants completed the images of their dolls - created bodies, sewed clothes, selected accessories. A simple nylon blank turned into a real doll with character, history and soul. 💫Each work is a reflection of the author's imagination: someone created a mischievous grandmother, someone - a fairy tale fairy or a funny old man. 💫The general atmosphere of kindness, creativity and support united all the participants - both young and old. Now the finished dolls will take pride of place in the homes of volunteers, and perhaps become gifts and inspiration for new master classes. Thank you to our talented teacher for your knowledge, patience and for sharing real magic with us! 💫 #RVC #HesedTiraspol #VolunteerCenterRVC #CreativityWithoutBorders
Today our volunteers from Volunteer Center RVC held two master classes at once: in the Day Center for elderly participants they created bright flowers from paper together, and with children they painted anchovy, an ancient symbol of protection. It would seem that the audiences are so different, but the emotions are equally sincere: joy, passion, warm gratitude. This day became a reminder of how much people of different generations have in common, and how inspiring simple human interaction is. #RVC #HesedTiraspol
✨Creativity, joy and care in one master class ✂️A warm and inspiring event was held at the Day Center for the older generation of our community. Young volunteers held a master class on making flowers from colored paper. 🫶The activity was not only exciting, but also useful - it develops fine motor skills, helps to concentrate and lifts the mood. Each participant lovingly created bright paper flowers, and then all together decided to leave them in the Day Center - to decorate the room and please the eye. 🪅The event was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere, and there were memorable photos. 🔥Huge thanks to our volunteers @rvc.center for their attention, participation and kind hearts! #JDC #RVC #HesedTirsspol
Representatives of our Community attended the concert of the XXIII International Festival "Piano Nights" in the Palace of the Republic. The festival is held in Tiraspol for the 17th time with the support of the French Alliance and the Embassy of France. That evening, the music of Camille Saint-Saëns was performed by the Transnistrian Symphony Orchestra. At the piano was a guest from France, virtuoso pianist Jonathan Benichou, professor of the Paris Conservatory. 🎹 Our participants noted that the concert within the framework of the Volunteer Center RVC "Bohemia" project gave them not only aesthetic pleasure, but also spiritual renewal. "It was real music therapy!" - this is how they responded to the evening event.
🏞 Outdoor practice: step by step to health! 👉This week, a practical lesson in Nordic walking was held for our elderly participants. Each participant received their own poles, which were individually adjusted to their height - after all, the correct length is important for a comfortable and safe workout. 🏆After receiving the poles, the group headed to the embankment, honing their walking technique along the way. In the shade of the trees, by the water, not only a practical lesson took place, but also a discussion of the most important nuances - which shoes are better to choose, how to assess the conditions for a walk and what to do if not everything works out right away. 🌿 The participants supported each other and shared their impressions. It was a truly inspiring outing! Next week, participants from Grigoriopol and Rybnitsa will join the practice - and they will also try their hand at Nordic walking with the support of an instructor. 🚶♀️🚶♂️We continue to move forward - step by step, meeting by meeting! 🫶PS Special thanks to Volunteer Center RVC volunteer Tatyana for photo and video support! #JDC #hesedtiraspol #RVC
✨ Miracles from nylon ✨ Our volunteers held an inspiring master class on the stocking technique! For more than two hours, the participants — from 14 to 87 years old! — painstakingly created doll heads. Each work turned out to be unique, with character and mood. Everyone succeeded, regardless of experience or age! 🧵 The teacher not only shared the secrets of the technique, but also showed her amazing dolls — real art that captivated everyone! Now the volunteers of the Volunteer Center RVC are eagerly awaiting the continuation of the master class to finish what they started and give the dolls bodies and clothes. The volunteers are inspired and are already making creative plans! 💜 #RVC. #HesedTiraspol
📱 Today, we held an online training for our Volunteer Center RVC volunteers: “Digital Literacy Skills to Help the Elderly.” The focus was on what every volunteer should know to support the older generation in mastering smartphones. 🧩 We discussed important topics: - why older people need digital skills; - what difficulties they face; - how to overcome fears and barriers associated with technology. 🛠 In practice, we discussed: ✅ how to help send a photo in WhatsApp, ✅ how to view and forward a link, ✅ how to adjust the screen brightness, ✅ how to change the screen orientation, ✅ how to connect Wi-Fi. 📋 We also discussed a clear algorithm for helping an elderly person: from the first contact to consolidating the skill. 🤝 Thank you to all the participants! Such trainings are not just training, they are an investment in a caring and accessible digital future for our grandparents 💜 #JDC #RVC #HesedTiraspol
🟠 Today, as part of the “Everyone to the Museum” project, together with our wonderful volunteer Tatyana, representatives of the older generation took a fascinating journey... to Ancient Rome! 🧱 Participants learned how the ancient Romans lived, worked and rested: 🏛 what technologies they used, 🔥 how they made durable concrete using the hot mixing method, 💦 what was special about Roman baths, 🏢 what insulae looked like - the prototypes of apartment buildings, 🛠 what happened in tanneries and what processes were used there. The excursion was lively, informative and with great interest from the participants! We thank Tatyana for her warm accompaniment and interesting presentation 🧡 The Volunteer Center RVC “Everyone to the Museum” project is an opportunity to learn new things and spend time in pleasant company. 📸 Share in the comments, do you like our online excursions? #JDC #RVC #HesedTiraspol
🎉 We are proud to announce that we have won the Charles Hoffman Prize grant! 📌 The goal of our new project is not only to stimulate physical activity among older people, but also to improve their health and socialization. 🚶♂️The project has already hosted two online training meetings, where: 👉Participants learned how Nordic walking affects health; 👉Discussed medical indications and contraindications; 👉Studied the technique of Nordic walking and performed it in practice! 👥 The project involves representatives of the older generation of our Community from different cities of Transnistria. We are creating a community of active and caring people, where everyone can find support! 🫶And, of course, there is an opportunity to become a volunteer at the RVC Volunteer Center, helping others live a quality and interesting life! 📅 New meetings, walks and events are ahead. #JTC #RVC #hesedtiraspol
